The advantage of this kit over the 144 is that it uses a "ultra light" Custom Wiseco piston kit. Our 57mm 139 piston is made to our specs and is 37 grams lighter than the stock 125 piston and over 50 grams lighter that the OEM 144 piston. That's just a hair under 30% less weight!
The lighter flat top piston allows the engine to rev faster and pull out longer on top. It also cuts down on vibration.
Torque of the 139 is comparable to the 144 but the peak power is more. We feel that the 139 is a good balance of torque and rev that we like better than the 144.
